GE’s Speedtronic turbine control platform began with the Mark I and Mark II. These were introduced for analogue based turbine management and took care of the fundamental functions of speed control, protective shutdown and basic sequencing for gas and steam turbines. Most modern installs have moved on to later generations, but a number of plants and facilities still operate Mark I and Mark II hardware especially in areas where older infrastructure is still in service.

Spare parts for these old systems are not easy to come by. OEM support for Mark I and Mark II has largely vanished and the pool of available components keeps shrinking. Evaflux maintains access to Mark I and Mark II Speedtronic components through specialist supply channels, making us one of the few reliable sources for buyers who still need to keep these systems running.
