The TU830V1 is a high-performance Module Termination Unit (MTU) designed for connecting field wiring to I/O modules in ABB automation systems. This passive unit supports up to 16 I/O channels, each with two I/O connections and one ZP (zero potential) connection, allowing for efficient and reliable signal and power distribution.

With two isolated process voltage groups, each protected by a 6.3 A fuse, the TU830V1 ensures safe operation across various automation environments. The unit can handle up to 50 V and 2 A per channel, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. The TU830V1 also handles ModuleBus distribution and assigns the correct address to I/O modules by shifting position signals between MTUs.
