The GE EX2000 is a static excitation system designed to control the field current supplied to a generator’s rotor, maintaining stable voltage output and supporting reactive power regulation. It was widely deployed in gas and steam turbine-generator sets from the 1980s onward and remains in operational use across a significant number of power plants, particularly in markets where ageing generation infrastructure is still productive.

EX2000 hardware covers AVR (automatic voltage regulation) control boards, AC feedback modules, gate pulse amplifier cards, power rectifier components, and protective relay interfaces. These are system-specific parts they are not compatible with EX2100 or EX2100e hardware and finding them through standard supply channels has become increasingly difficult as the platform has aged beyond active OEM production.

Evaflux maintains sourcing access for GE EX2000 excitation spare parts through specialist international channels. We supply to power plant procurement teams, generator OEM contractors, and maintenance operations that need to keep EX2000 systems functional without full system replacement.
