The ICS TRIPLEX T8451 24 Vdc Digital Output Module is a high-performance Trusted™ TMR module designed for safety-critical industrial control systems. It provides 40 triple-modular-redundant (TMR) digital output points per module, ensuring reliable and fault-tolerant operation in demanding environments.
Built with advanced diagnostics and protection features, the T8451 continuously monitors field wiring and output loading to detect open circuits, short circuits, and wiring faults. Each output channel includes automatic overcurrent protection, eliminating the need for external fuses and improving system availability.
The module supports hot replacement using SmartSlot technology or adjacent companion slots, allowing maintenance without system shutdown. Clear front-panel LEDs display individual output status, wiring faults, and overall module health, making troubleshooting faster and easier. With high-isolation barriers and onboard Sequence of Events (SOE) reporting at 1 ms resolution, the ICS TRIPLEX T8451 is ideal for critical applications in oil & gas, power generation, chemical processing, and other safety-focused industries.
