Description

The Rockwell ICS TRIPLEX T8110B Trusted TMR Processor Module is the core processing unit of the Trusted™ industrial control system, designed for safety-critical and high-availability applications. Manufactured by ICS Triplex under Rockwell Automation, this module delivers exceptional reliability through Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) architecture.

Operating in a 3-2-0 fault-tolerant mode, the T8110B uses two-out-of-three voting to ensure accurate processing and continuous operation, even if one processor path fails. Each processor is independently powered through a dual-redundant 24 Vdc backplane supply, providing short-circuit protection and stable regulated power to internal electronics.

The module communicates with other system components via the triple inter-module bus, enabling fast and secure interaction with I/O subsystems and controllers. It also includes time-stamped fault recording, allowing precise diagnostics and event tracking.
