The Bently Nevada 136719-01 Earthing I/O Module is an intrinsically safe (IS) earthing solution designed for use with the 3500 Machinery Protection System. This module provides the necessary IS earth connection directly through the system backplane, eliminating the need for external earthing hardware in hazardous environments.
Specifically developed for installations where transducer systems operate in classified hazardous areas, the 136719-01 enhances safety and system integration without compromising performance. Unlike external barriers that can degrade system integrity, this internal earthing module is fully compatible with 3500 Internal Barriers, ensuring high reliability.
The module occupies a dedicated I/O slot, reducing the available monitor positions in a standard 19-inch rack from 14 to 13.
