The Honeywell 10100/2/1 Horizontal Bus Driver Module (HBD) is an essential component in industrial I/O rack configurations, ensuring seamless communication and address line termination. Designed with a robust architecture, it features an electronic module (10100/2/1) and a compatible flatcable (A1, A21, or A22), depending on the I/O configuration—non-redundant or redundant.

The Honeywell 10100/2/1 Horizontal Bus Driver Module connects the vertical bus flatcable from the Central Part to the I/O rack via the back connector CN1. It extends connectivity to the horizontal bus above the I/O rack and manages address selection lines through the connector CN3. It supports multiple configurations, including:

• A1 flatcable for non-redundant I/O,

• A21 flatcable for redundant I/O (single rack), and

• A22 flatcable for redundant I/O (dual rack).
